Oyster Mushroom on Toast
This is a tasty dish beloved by the British. Mushrooms on toast are delicious and can be made quickly. They are suitable for any time of the day, breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner or as a snack. Give it a try and let us know how you like it!

Makes: 2 Servings
- 1 cup oyster mushrooms coarsely chopped
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- 2 slices of bread
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter. When butter begins to sizzle, add mushrooms and cook, stirring until lightly browned, 5-7 minutes.
Add garlic and stir to coat. Season lightly with salt and pepper and continue to saute for about one minute.
Toast bread slices until golden, then lightly spread butter and place them on a plate
Spoon the mushrooms and put them over the toasted bread. Then top them with chopped parsley.
