Three essential steps
Step 1
Make an X-shaped cut in each grow bag. Keep the plastic flaps attached, lift them, and lightly scratch each exposed surface with a fork.
Step 2
Add 3 tablespoons of water to each opened area, then place the kits in bright indirect light. Mist each kit with 10 to 12 sprays twice daily.
Step 3
Each variety develops on its own schedule. Pins typically appear around days 7 to 10. Keep misting, then harvest each full cluster around days 10 to 14, depending on conditions.
This 2-pack includes one Pink Oyster kit and one White Oyster kit.
Both varieties need steady humidity, bright indirect light, and regular fresh air. Pink oysters prefer warmer conditions, while White oysters perform well in moderate indoor temperatures.
With consistent care, each grow bag can potentially yield up to 0.5 lb of fresh mushrooms in its first flush. Results vary with temperature, humidity, airflow, and daily care. Additional flushes may be possible and are often smaller.
Pink oysters bring bold color and savory flavor. White oysters are mild, delicate, and versatile. Cook both varieties thoroughly.
